The Small Business Development Center offers an in-depth look at the finances and operations of your business. One of our experienced business counselors will conduct a 15-hour review of your business, including on-site interviews and observations. The counselor will then prepare a written report with their findings and give recommendations to improve the operating efficiency of the business.

The Rx for Business features a review of:

• Most recent monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Existing or potential problems
• Operational methods (work scheduling, inventory control, quality control)
• Pricing strategies and methods
• Decision making and problem solving
• Facilities and capital investment
• Marketing
• Business objectives, goals, and strategies
• Employees and personnel issues

The Rx for Business is for you if you

• have been in business at least one year
• have financial statements for one full year
• want to improve the operating efficiency of your business

The counties of Sonoma and Marin each underwrite the majority of the cost for participating businesses located in those counties. Your cost for this 15 hour program is only $100.
